Job Description

Support to the development and deliver a range of travel related activities within the AZI and ensure compliance with Travel policy.A travel and tour representative  is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating travel arrangements and tours for clients. This role requires strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of various destinations, travel options, and tour packages. Key responsibilities of a travel and tour representative include:

1. Understanding the needs and preferences of clients to recommend suitable travel and tour options based on their interests, budget, and timeline.
2. Researching and planning itineraries for individual travelers, corporate groups, or tour packages, including flights, accommodation, transportation, activities, and attractions.
3. Making reservations and bookings for flights, hotels, tours, tickets, and other travel services through online systems or direct contact with suppliers.
4. Providing accurate information on travel requirements, visa processes, health and safety precautions, insurance coverage, and other relevant details to clients.
5. Communicating with clients to confirm travel arrangements, provide updates on itinerary changes, and address any concerns or issues during their travel.
6. Coordinating logistics, transportation, accommodations, and activities for group tours, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
7. Handling payment transactions, issuing invoices, vouchers, and receipts, and managing financial records in compliance with company policies.
8. Collaborating with travel partners, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and local suppliers to negotiate rates, secure availability, and organize services for clients.
9. Keeping abreast of travel trends, destination updates, travel restrictions, and safety advisories to provide timely and relevant advice to clients.
10. Promoting travel packages, tour specials, and exclusive deals to drive sales, increase customer retention, and expand the company's customer base.

Job Requirement

- Bachelor's degree in travel, tourism, business studies, marketing, management, or journalism
- Minimum of two years relevant work experience in the tourism industry
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in IT software and systems
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and energetic attitude
- Resourcefulness and confidence in handling customer inquiries and concerns
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
