About Company
About RCY: Rehabilitation Center of Youth (RCY) Is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and registered with Afghanistan Ministry of Economy on 2006 which registration number (645) working in various fields of construction, health, agriculture, education and social protection. RCY is operating in the field of orthopedic and physiotherapy services in Jalalabad, Khost, Daydundi and Herat provinces. This project is funded by Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Data Collection:
- Conduct surveys in target areas, including household visits, community interviews, and site assessments.
- Use standardized tools (MODA) to collect data on food security, nutrition, market conditions, and other relevant indicators.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze survey data to identify trends, gaps, and needs.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and providing recommendations for WFP interventions.
3. Coordination and Communication:
- Work closely with Project teams, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure surveys are aligned with program objectives.
- Communicate regularly with the project team regarding progress, challenges, and any modifications required in the survey process.
Job Requirement
- Degree in Geography, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting surveys or assessments in humanitarian or development contexts using MODA or Kobo.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency
- Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
