Job Description
The Executive Officer at APSC, the Akramzada Postal Service Company, plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operations of the organization in strict compliance with the rules and regulations set by APRA – the Afghanistan Postal Regulatory Authority. This executive position involves developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of postal services. The Executive Officer serves as a crucial link between the company and external stakeholders, engaging with government agencies and customers, and representing the company in negotiations and meetings.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an executive role within the postal services industry or relevant field
- Strong leadership skills with effective communication abilities
- Thorough knowledge of postal regulations and industry trends
- Proven experience in strategic planning and implementation
- Sound financial management skills to handle budget responsibilities
- Proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder management
- Team player with a collaborative approach to drive organizational success
- Prior experience in the postal or logistics industry is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Fluency in English is required
- Proficiency in MS Offices: Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and other related software.
