About Relief humanitarian Development Organization (RHDO): About Organization: (RHDO) Relief Humanitarian and Development Organization (RHDO) is a nongovernmental, non- religious, non-political, non-profit and non-military organization, working for development of Afghanistan through implementation of health, community development and capacity development/research projects was established in February 2014 and is registered with the Ministry of Economics under registration No 3121. is also registered in Ministry of Public health under registration # 504. is registered in Ministry of Women affairs under registration # 751 aims to contribute to the development of Afghanistan through provision of developmental and humanitarian services in public health, training and capacity building of Afghans in healthcare disciplines and skills starts to realize its vision through implementable, context-specific, technically sound and practically achievable approaches. These approaches are: (1) to design and implement the community development programs; (2) to provide primary and secondary health services according to the standards of the MOPH; and (3) to build capacities and skills of ordinary Afghanistan residences and professional of health sector.

Job Description

Administration Management

  • Planning, organizing, providing leadership, and controlling all administrative functions.
  • To manage and delegate the duties of general support and office staff as well as closely supervise the activities of all administrative and supportive staff and ensure efficiency on their part.  
  • To overlook vehicle fleet management, vehicles maintenance, equipment, and hospital maintenance.
  • To ensure all RHDO properties are maintained to high standard and ensure the equipment and hospital maintenance is being done.
  • Process bills of food expenses of the hospital, Cross check bills and make sure they are correct.
  • Ensure provision of all utility services i.e. electricity, gas, water, telephone, internet etc.
  • Responsible to make arrangements for the meetings and to ensure nice refreshments and take meeting minutes.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all relevant local governmental bureaus, agencies, and authorities.
  • Maintain stationary supplies and coordinating deliveries.
  • Ensure good quality meal, tea and water for Employees and patients.
  • To oversee the overall activities of HR, to provide support to and ensure full transparency, fairness and accountability is implemented in term of recruitment.

Safety & Security:

  • Responsible for the security of RHDO staff, assets and premises at the province and make sure that RHDO security policy is implemented properly.
  • Reports security situation report to the security focal point at Kabul office and to program on weekly basis in the given format,
  • Collect security information from a wide variety of sources at provincial level and share the same with all concerns.
  • Liaise with ANSO, UNDSS, UN agencies and NGOs on security related issues.
  • Provide the staff with the road clearances and brief the staff of the insecure areas on daily basis before they leave.

Capacity Building: -

  • Responsible to identify operations staff training/capacity building needs and recommend ways/methods for their development in the operations sector.
  • Assist support staff in their day-to-day activities and provide them necessary training mentoring or coaching in order to fulfill their assignments efficiently.
  • To provide guidance and instruction to the support staff for sound and timely performances of duties.
  • Any other task assigns by line manager / management.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, BBA, Economics, Public Administration, or any other related field – Masters is an advantage.
  • At least five years of experience managing development projects.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English, Dari and Pashto languages.
  • Experience of developing short-term and long-term plans, and report writing
