Job Description
- Prepare management, technical and pricing proposals as per the available RFPs
- Ensure all bids are completed in a compliant and timely manner.
- The Technical Proposal Writer must be involved in several major proposal writing functions under supervision of senior technical. proposal writer such as:
- Write, prepare and review the technical proposals and then submit them to the clients.
- Ensure the best quality of proposals before submitting them to the clients.
- Analyze and prepare logical plans for all aspects of project including Project Management Plan, Project Quality Management Plan, and Project Implementation Methodology.
- Writing the technical portions of business and construction proposals in response to RFPs issued by government and civil agencies.
- Prepare and write detailed proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications in field of construction and logistics.
- proposal writer is responsible for writing proposal for Construction & logistic projects in both (Dari & English) languages.
- PW should be Able to write proposal for government of Afghanistan and other NGOs Projects.
- PW is based in Kabul but may have to move to the provinces depending on the evolution of the projects and the security situation anytime.
- Ensure all bids are completed in a compliant and timely manner.
- Research the web and other sources for getting the new RFPs.
- Attend performance evaluation and technical meetings. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key counterparts on client side.
- Perform any other task as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Job Requirement
Education: Bachelor degree in Engineering, project management, or any other relevant field, Master degree will be given first priority
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in engineering, with specific focus on cost estimation and proposal writing.
In-depth knowledge of cost estimation methodologies, including quantity take-offs, labor, material costs, indirect expenses and Technical and pricing proposal writing knowledge is needed.
Proven experience in preparing and submitting successful proposals, RFPs, and bids.
Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and Excellent communication skills in English
Self-Motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
Computer skills: professionally In office programs and Microsoft management or primavera.
