Job Description
Tutti Frutti Food Products LTD is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented food technologist to join our quality control team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to conduct thorough quality inspections of our wheat flour, cooking oil, and legumes to ensure compliance with our high standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive quality control inspections on incoming wheat flour, cooking oil, and legumes to assess their quality, safety, and adherence to standards
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols specifically tailored to wheat flour, cooking oil, and legumes
- Utilize various testing methods to evaluate the physical, chemical, and microbiological properties of the food products
- Accurately document and communicate inspection results, maintaining meticulous records of the findings
- Proactively identify and address any deviations from quality standards and collaborate with relevant teams to rectify issues
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to the inspection and quality control of wheat flour, cooking oil, and legumes
Skills:
- Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain precision, especially when examining multiple food products
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Competence in using a range of testing equipment and laboratory instruments
- Problem-solving aptitude and sound judgment when evaluating product quality
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, AOAC and other quality assurance systems is desirable
