Job Description
- Management and oversight of all aspects of the Airport contract
- Establish and nurture excellent working relationships with senior Airport management and clients.
- Ensure that the highest customer service is delivered, cost effectively and consistently.
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are met in full, whilst achieving full compliance against all relevant regulations.
- Support and develop all aspects of management, staff motivation and ensure succession planning of the management team
- Make sure all disciplinary, grievance and customer complaints are dealt with promptly and in accordance with company policies.
- Identify, follow up and report any potential new business opportunities to the National Operation Manager/Project Manager.
- Take on and deliver project work as required and defined by business needs, whilst being able to manage your regular responsibilities.
Job Requirement
Operation Manager designated as responsible for implementing security measures relating to aircraft or airport operations should possess at a minimum the necessary qualifications, knowledge, and experience, including:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3 years managerial experience in security
- knowledge of international, regional, and national aviation security regulations;
- knowledge of and experience in aviation security operations; or
- experience in other security-related fields such as law enforcement or the military;
- certification or equivalent approval by the appropriate authority; and
- knowledge in the following specific areas:
- security systems and access control;
- ground and in-flight security;
- restricted and prohibited articles;
- an overview of terrorism and current threats against civil aviation;
- understanding of risk-based approach to security: and
- English Language (reading, writing, speaking)
