About Kandahar Refugee Organization: Kandahar Refugee Organization (KRO) is a national-level, non-political, non-profitable, non-governmental organization working for humanitarian and rehabilitation roots in Afghanistan. Job Description

Prepareand distribute a monthly newsletter highlighting the project activities.

Maintain regular communication with field-level School Feeding (SF) staff to gather relevant data.

Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project teams.

Assist the project manager in handling emergencies and crisis situations.

Develop weekly and monthly work plans in collaboration with the project manager.

Compile and report the list of eligible students who are entitled to receive food assistance.

Prepare field reports promptly, documenting school feeding activities and food distribution, and submit them to the project manager on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Participate in monthly meetings to provide updates and contribute to discussions.

Prepare six-month and project completion reports for submission to the line manager. Conduct regular meetings with project staff, documenting meeting minutes for future reference.

Visit project sites periodically to conduct beneficiary interviews and gather community feedback regarding the project's impact.

Prepare success stories highlighting the achievements and positive outcomes of the school feeding project.

Participate in training workshops, meetings, and project events held in various provinces.

Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

Assist in data analysis and interpretation to provide insights for project improvement.

Liaise with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and partner organizations, for data sharing and coordination.

Support the project manager in preparing presentations and reports for donor meetings and reviews.

Conduct periodic reviews of reporting processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and guidelines set by the donor and project management.

Maintain a well-organized documentation system for easy retrieval of reports and supporting documents.

Provide guidance and support to field staff regarding data collection, reporting formats, and quality assurance.

Stay updated with relevant guidelines and best practices in reporting for school feeding programs.

Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and progress reports for funding opportunities.

Adhere to all policies of the organization, including but not limited to the code of conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Child Protection, Anti-Fraud, and Conflict of Interest Policies.

Maintain 100% transparency and accountability in reporting and project implementation.

Support the project manager in any other reporting-related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Journalism, International Development, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in reporting, data analysis, or monitoring and evaluation in the context of development projects or programs.

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports.

Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Understanding of project management principles and practices.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, reporting, and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software or tools.

Cultural sensitivity and awareness.

Strong command of written and spoken English.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in challenging and dynamic environments.
