Job Description

Job Description:

This is a one-year (Extendable) on-the-job training program for Afghan youths who have one year of experience in office management. The main purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity and enhance the capabilities of Afghan youths to apply knowledge and skills as well as to face and handle challenges in a practical working environment and gain experience in their field of study and interest.

Duties and Responsibilities of Business Development Intern:

  • Carefully review RFQ, RFP, and ITB
  • Write and review proposal sections and related proposal documents
  • Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner
  • Attend meetings, Prebid conferences, or site visits
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Make, edits and revisions as per the requirements
  • Maintain consistency by following company policies.
  • Give presentations and reports as and where required.
  • Perform any other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Human Resource Intern:

  • Assist in HR Department in filling
  • Assist in staff document completion
  • Assist in Documents scan
  • Assist in the recruitment process
  • Assist in application longlist
  • Assist in staff prescription review
  • Assist in updating staff information in MIS
  • Perform any other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Finance Intern:

  • Assisting the finance staff in documentation and filling out vouchers
  • Photocopying of all financial documents
  • Scanning of all financial documents
  • Act as a liaison employee of HPL with the directorate of Taxpayer services for all documentation related to taxation.
  • Deposit cash to banks as per the given slips
  • Act as a purchaser when required for all purchases of HPL
  • Collect bills/invoices from HPL customers and vendors
  • Assist in the process of financial payments of invoices
  • Assist in filling the finance documents for the month in proper order and sequence
  • Help the finance team with the tasks being assigned to them
  • Taking quotations for all purchases of HPL as per procurement policy
  • Assist the finance officers in the accounts payable and accounts receivable section as required
  • Keep a proper filing system for all documentation within the finance department
  • Perform any other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of Logistic Intern:

  • Assist in reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Assist in logistics of all HPL needs and requirements
  • Assist in maintaining purchase records and other important data
  • Review requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers
  • Forecast needs and supplies
  • Assist in preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, and supplies
  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
  • Assist in developing plans for purchasing services, and supplies
  • Send and Receive documents from HR, Finance, and other departments to HPL projects in the province.
  • Perform any other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

Duties and Responsibilities of IT Intern:

  • Assist in maintaining and repairing networks, and peripherals and helping colleagues troubleshoot the problem
  • Assist in helping customers answer emails and chats regarding technical issues
  • Keeping a detailed record of network configuration, peripheral specification, problems, and solutions
  • Assist in processing help desk support requests
  • Assist in performing routine PC maintenance
  • Order and stock office supplies when needed
  • Perform any other activities as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Job Requirement

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-year working experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and English language is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
  • Cooperative and team-working skills
  • Being flexible regarding working hours.
  • Disciplined, honest, professional, and hard worker.
