About Move Welfare Organization: MOVE Welfare Organization is a national, humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization respecting the right of healthy life and social welfare for all, aiming the efforts for quality health care and social development by offering health, education, agriculture and social development programs to meet the most crucial needs, for the people of Afghanistan. MOVE Welfare Organization was founded in 2003 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE is registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization was Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as one entity under the name of MOVE Welfare organization. MOVE is implementing Health, Nutrition, Capacity building, National Citizen Charter Program (NCCP) and Social Development program in different part of Afghanistan.

Job Description

PM will be responsible for overall the implementation activities and will supervise the team and activities, report to the ALASP team, and guide the team towards completing their activities.
Responsible for administration and finance-related activities and will report to the MUDL/ALASP team
Collects and analyzes data for the situation analysis, advocacy, and project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation purposes.

Analyzes project implementation reports and evaluates against established objectives. Recommendations and plans of action.
Responsible for supervising and monitoring the project and team activities.
Coordination and   report to the ALASP team.
Coordinating with related stakeholders at different levels.
Undertakes ongoing visits to field, Gozar sites and monitors implementation process. Communicate with partners, on project feasibility and effectiveness including monitoring the flow of all aspects of the project.
Responsible for work plan related to program activities (budget and finance): input work plans cost, links existing and expected resources to planning elements indicating both budget and unmet needs.
Responsible for preparing project reports.
Undertakes follow-up action on advocacy and program implementation activities, contributes to teamwork building, and prepares relevant reports. Drafts changes in project work plans as required.
Attends meetings, prepares notes and undertakes follow-up action and coordination related to project implementation and monitoring.
Assist in development of documents, presentations and other appropriate means of communication,
Assists in the preparation of funding gap analyses, funding proposals, budget utilization reports and analyses and other relevant documentation ensuring accuracy and consistency with established rules and regulations.
Selects and compiles training and orientation, as well as implementation information for those involved in program implementation, including donor and media visits.
Evaluates and analyzes financial and supply reports to ensure appropriateness of documentation, expenditures are within allotments. Reports to the HQ the outcome of reviews.
Close oversight over SCS and SOs activities, through periodic field visits and reports.
Ensure any follow-up actions are carried out.

Job Requirement

Qualification: 

Master’s degree in Project Management, MBA, International Development or Public Administration. At least 7 years’ experience in managing projects, Minimum Experience:
Experience with International organizations will be a plus.
Work experience with National Citizen Charter Program (NCCP) and same  projects will be a plus
The candidate must be resident of Kabul city and the resident address must be mentioned in the CV

Technical Skills:

Computer literacy (MS Office)
Fluency in written and spoken English, Dari, and Pashto
Good communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to mix well with people of all backgrounds and levels
Be a Strong team leader
Having adaptable, committed, and flexible attitude
Very strong representation skills and the ability to plan and facilitate meetings
Ability to work independently, to be self-motivated/ organized, and quick learner
