About Agriculture Development Fund ( ADF ): Agricultural Development Fund (ADF), is a financial institution under the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (MAIL), Government of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA). The ADF’s mission is to finance agriculture and agribusinesses across the country, so as to contribute to the economic development of Afghanistan. While the primary target client of the ADF is the commercial farmers, it also provides financial support to other small/large farmers, cooperatives, agricultural input suppliers, equipment dealers, processors, wholesalers, and exporters; as well as to those businesses that support agriculture, such as storage facilities and the transporters. ADF provides funding to its clients both, directly and indirectly, i.e. through financial and non-financial intermediaries. Its financing activities span agricultural production, processing, trade, and marketing at all levels.

Job Description

Delivery and circulation of hard files/documents for getting signatures of authorized officials within the departments located inside ADF Head office.
File and label all the loan files and documents in the Credit Administration & Loan Operations Unit.
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, mailing, filing and also saving the scan of the loan documents in CA & LO folders.
Assist with the compilation of the Management Credit Committee (MCC) and Credit Committee (CC) loan packages and submit the packages to the appropriate parties 72 hours prior to the beginning of the respective meetings.
Receiving, scanning, and copying all the original loan documents from the regional offices.
Assist Credit Admin & Loan Operations Unit, with maintaining office supplies and stationery stocks and distributions to office staff.
Assist Credit Admin & Loan Operations Officer in the maintenance of the most important documents (original Qabalas) and saving in the save lockers.
Record (soft and hard) receipts of booking instruction from the Finance Department.
Record copies of receipts and slips pertaining to loan disbursements, collection, and recoveries in the soft and hard folders of loan files.
Print required repayment schedules, invoices, transaction slips and keep them in the relevant folders.
Updating client basic info tracker on regular basis.
Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirement

Bachelor of Business Administration and/or relevant academic degree.
Minimum of one year experience in an equivalent/similar position. Previous employment for an NGO or an international organization is preferred. USAID-funded project experience is a plus.
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good interpersonal skills
Problem-solving skills (mostly in the lower and middle levels of management)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all team members within the department and organization.
Ability to work under pressure.
