Job Description
The Data Manager (supply chain) is responsible for strengthen our pharmaceutical data and reporting system. This role focuses on managing, analyzing, and visualizing data using mSupply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the dedicated supply chain reports.
- Regular data entry of all pharmaceuticals into mSupply database on regular and on-time bases.
- Use and generate data for managerial staff for proper decision making.
- Generate pharmaceutical data for real quantification and projection.
- Analyze the data, find out the gaps, and visualize the results to managerial staff.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual report and share with the line manager.
- Write and maintain tracking sheet including database (mSupply) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as well as proper dashboards for real-time data visualization.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all platforms and document data management procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate new data sources and provide technical support and training to team members on data management tools.
- Automate data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct regular data audits and resolve any data quality issues.
Key Selection Criteria and Job’s Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics or related field with at least 5 years’ experience. Experience in m-supply or managing data in health supply chain would be an added advantage
- Proven experience in data management tools such as MLIS, trucking sheets and databases.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining data security and confidentiality.
