Job Description
General Duties
- Be creative and follow up all administrative activities related to maintenance Section in a proper and standard manner.
- Examine daily duties, assign tasks, and check on progress.
- Assess Subordinate teams’ performance and provide guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Appraise the subordinate team’s performance and produce regular reports.
- Actively listen to and resolve complaints and address employees’ requests.
- Raising of PRs related to office management and maintenance section.
- Maintains, reviews, and records a variety of reports, including daily activity reports, Approved PRs, work requests, monthly statistical reports, and other reports and records as required.
- Make sure offices & guesthouses are hygienic, well-furnished, there is enough space.
- Track and update all maintenance/office management Trackers and share it with management in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Housekeepers and Wait Staff to provide an overall comfortable staff experience.
- Reviews vendor/contractor works and recommends payment upon receipt of material/completion of work.
- Assists, organizes, and evaluates the activities related to the maintenance and repair of office buildings and the various features such as plumping, Carpentry, painting, Flooring, and landscape.
- Assists and participates in the investigation, trouble shooting, Hygiene and Cleanliness of buildings.
- Organizes, schedules, assesses equipment installation; monitors the start-up of new installations, reporting findings to department Supervisor.
- Make sure the premises to be rented meet all the Facilities requirements suitable for IRC-A to rent.
- Reads, understands, and ensures compliance with the IRC’s Safety Policy; attends safety meetings, as required; reports all accidents, violations, or infractions to Line Supervisor.
Specific Duties:
- follow up all administrative activities in a proper and standard manner related to maintenance.
- Assess Subordinate teams’ performance (Cleaners,Cooks,maintenance team) and provide guidance to ensure maximum efficiency

- To ensure office supplies and maintenance Spare parts, cleaning supplies stock is replenished on time and incoming and outgoing quantities are recorded.
- Assists, organizes, and evaluates the activities related to cleanliness and the maintenance and repair of office buildings and the various features such as plumping, Carpentry, painting, Flooring, and landscape.
- Any other job related task assigned by line Supervisor
Job Requirement
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in administration (BBA or any other relevant field).
- Years of Experience:2-3 years’ Experience in administrative works and maintenance Section
- Skills: Skilled in computer-based work management system and exceptional skills on support staff management.
- Technical Competency: Work independently in the absence of direct supervision. Perform a variety of manual/Computer-based tasks for extended period.
- Strong Communication and reporting skills specially in English languages and Local (Pashto/Dari) languages.
- Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English
- Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and internet) is must.
- Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background.
