Job Description
Job Description:
- The teachers shall be teaching school subjects (Dari/Pashto, Math, Drawing, etc) to school students.
- Besides teaching school subjects, you will be expected to teach subject related to Peace and Reconciliation and conduct activities related to the same whenever required during the working hours.
- Preparing daily lesson plan (for the following week), delivering the classes creatively and systematically, correcting homework, supervising the growth of students in your subject.
- The teacher is expected to provide personal care (accompaniment) to each student. Hence, the teacher is expected to accompany at least one student and find time to gather details about the student. The narration about the student shall include the struggle/ success story of the student in learning the school subjects. This narrative report shall be submitted to the coordinator/ JRS office by the end of each month.
- A monthly report is to be submitted to the Project Coordinator in the prescribed format.
- Conduct exam for the students monthly.
- Preparing standard question papers and conducting tests/examinations, correcting answer sheets, assessing the students’ performance, preparing the reports, results and maintaining records.
- Preparing charts, posters and other teaching materials for the class.
- Updating the database of the students.
- Accountable to the Project Coordinator/Project Director.
Job Requirement
· University degree in relevant fields
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English
· Relevant teaching qualification preferable
· Previous teaching experience preferable
· Knowledge and experience in IT tools / Microsoft Office / Online applications
