Job Description
• Assist the line supervisor with transparency in all the company's actions with respect to Spectrum Management.
• Monitor long-term emerging needs in Spectrum Management and contribute to the development of employees aimed at ensuring that the staff can respond appropriately to these emerging needs.
• Assist in the formulation of long-term Frequency Allocation Plans.
• Ensure consistent channeling and the prevention of interference.
• Responsible for proper assignment of spectrum/radio frequencies in the company.
• Responsible to Investigate difficult cases of frequency interference and infringements and providing solutions.
• Conduct random checks to detect unauthorized usage of spectrum/frequencies and bring them under the licensing regime.
• Conduct annual inspections of transmission facilities and frequencies.
• Perform site visits to ensure that equipment is operated within the approved parameters.
• Conduct Inspections of telecommunications and radio-communication stations in Afghanistan to make sure the EA spectrum is not being used by other companies.
• Prepare a long-term plan for spectrum acquisition and make sure the spectrum usage is based on the license and plan.
• Engage closely with staff across the EA who is responsible for spectrum planning and implementing change, provide problem-solving support, and facilitate decision-making and consensus-building as part of a team.
Job Requirement
Bachelor of Telecommunication with two years of relevant experience
