About (CHA) Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance: Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan
Job Description
- Be aware of the CRL tasks, goals, and objectives.
- Establish a reliable and consistent set of indicators for CRL activities and develop a monitoring matrix for CFW initiatives.
- Developing a monitoring tracker to ensure that the CFW sub-projects and social grants are implemented based on the project operational manual.
- Ensure that the design and estimation of subprojects are based on technical norms and the budget ceiling of CFW.
- Conduct monitoring and supervision visits from all CFW sub-projects at the community level.
- Conduct monitoring and supervision of CFW sub-projects to ensure that CFW sub-projects are implemented according to the proposal in target villages
- Ensure that the cash is distributed to the right beneficiaries at the community level.
- Ensure that the right beneficiaries are selected for food items.
- Conduct post-distribution monitoring (PDM) after cash distribution to the target beneficiaries bi-monthly.
- Develop M&E plan and manage day-to-day operations of M&E tasks at the community levels
- Participate actively in the procurement process of goods and services between the field office and the contractors
- Preparing monthly reports to his supervisor.
- Provide written feedback along with a remedial action plan to the project staff.
Job Requirement
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field including civil engineering
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the field of monitoring and quality control;
Technical Skills:
- Well-knowledge in subproject estimation and design.
- Ability in planning and reporting systems.
- Have effective communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken Dari, Pashto, and local languages.
- Must be able to write the report/ feedback in the English language
- Ability to use a computer and have knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Able to work as a part of a team in the field.
