About BRAC Afghanistan: BRAC Afghanistan is seeking applications from highly qualified and experienced Afghan Nationals for an anticipated project (Phase 2 of ABADEI) for the following positions based in 14 provinces (Kabul, Bamyan, Daikondi, Ghor, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pol, Badakhshan, Baghlan, Kunduz and Takhar).
Job Description
- Ensure good relationship with all programmes and projects
- Perform and ensure all kind of admin and logistical support for office, implementation teams and stakeholders as required.
- Ensure proper recording and updating inventory of the fixed assets of the offices, Guesthouses.
- Support the procurement, finance and project team in arranging training, workshops and other events in the local areas
- Support in hiring the office, procurement process, contracting the vendors as per the requirement of the project
- Ensure all legal obligation of Offices (lease agreement, maintenance contracts) are fulfilled and renewed in a timely manner
- Ensure that all utility bills (electricity, water, telephones and etc) are paid on time.
- Ensure standards of sanitation in the offices
- Maintain generators in offices
- Supervise service staffs ( Guard, cleaner,)
- Demonstrate good behavior with all other staff
Job Requirement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Records maintenance skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.
• Knowledge of office management principles and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
