Job Description
- Supervise successful implementation of the project activities in the province; promote and ensure the quality of implementation, accountability of the activates and doing no harm to the beneficiaries.
- Together with the team, prepare regular progress reports and reflective documents about the program, and submit to the Kabul Main Office.
- Identify and respond to deviations in project area and inform the field coordinator and Kabul main office of actions to be taken.
- Overall supervision of the provincial education team members; plan for and implement job-related training and development activities for supervised staff.
- Oversee and ensure proper maintenance of the database of the program activities.
- Regularly prepare the weekly, Monthly reports to Kabul main office, attend meetings in Kabul
- Ensure that accurate and updated records of logistics and inventory of the education activities are maintained.
- Provide timely financial projections to the field Coordinator and Kabul main office; maintain records of all expenditure approved by the Education Coordinator for program activities.
- Monitor education program expenses in the province to ensure budgets are followed and expenses are appropriated and recorded.
- Maintain proper communication with other units of the field offices and Kabul; Monitor movement of education staff members.
- Coordination all field/project area activities with the Education Technical Advisor, Education Coordinator, and Field Coordinator.
- Coordinate with provincial education staff, including Mater Teacher Trainers, Teacher Trainer and Community Mobilizers.
- Coordinate with provincial Education Managers in sharing program innovations, best practices, Lessons learned, etc.
Job Requirement
- Bachler’s degree preferably in education or bachelor’s degree in business administration
- At least (4-5 years) of experience in relevant field in humanitarian organization (NGO)
- Good working knowledge in project implementation.
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to mentor and support departmental staff
- Excellent Budget Management skills
- Experience in report writing
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Fluent in speaking and writing English and speak/write one of the local languages (Dari/Pashto)
- Computer skills including knowledge and proficient using of MS Office package (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
