Job Description
To assist the project manager in implementation of the project specially the education center.
The job will involve a large amount of field & some desk work. The Education Centre Manager – Organizational Management and Effectiveness will have to develop a thorough and knowledge of the projects, so as to be familiar with Community World Service Asia implementing strategies and so s/he can effectively report on them.
Job Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
Manage enrolment of students in the center
Coordinate with schools for enrolment of studentsCoordiantion with education directorate in Nengarhar province in matters regarding the eduation center for target schools in Nangarhar provinces in one target districts of Behsod or Sukhrod
Monitor the teacher and daily proformances .
Record keeping of the students
Providing report monthly and Quarterly
Developing training material and modules
Coordination with education department and other relevant organizations
Keep in contact with schools, Community members, Shuras, PTC, VECs
Develop Monthly plan, session plans and Monthly activity plan
Conduct planning meetings with the teachers to identify needs for sessions
Conducting awareness session on child right and importance of education
Assist returnees children with documentation and referral .
Collaboration and communication with stockholder
Any other task given by supervisor
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of management theories and concepts.
Experienced in Organizational Development (OD) processes, approaches and change management.
Engaging academia for curriculum/guidelines development to bridge gap between theory & practice.
Understanding and Skills around HR, Financial Management & reporting.
Experience in partnership management.
Ability to travel on short-notice. The frequency of travel is high for this position.
Computer Skills (use of Microsoft Office specifically Excel for budgeting/planning & PowerPoint for presentations).
Excellent Writing skills (English), pro-active in communication & information sharing.
Understanding about capacity building approaches and experience in fund raising for Capacity Building Programs.

Languages: Excellent command of English & Pashto and Dari – verbal and written
IT: Word, PowerPoint, Adobe and able to well present and analyse information
Sensitivity:
The Education Centre Manager – Organizational Management and Effectiveness must be tolerant and sensitive to needs of religious and ethnic minorities, women, children and the poor.
Independence:
In the absence of the supervisors, the Education Centre Manager – Organizational Management and Effectiveness must have the confidence, initiative, patience and integrity to work independently.
