About Action Against Hunger: Action Against Hunger/Action Contre La Faim (AAH/ACF) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that was created in France in 1979. AAH/ACF has been active in Afghanistan in the medical, nutrition, food security, and water and sanitation fields since 1995. AAH/ACF improved access to health and nutrition services for the most vulnerable people, who live in remote areas without a local health system. In particular, the country team supported pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under five, who are at greater risk of malnutrition. Nutrition programmes rely on an integrated approach, addressing both primary and underlying causes, in order to have a lasting impact on nutritional status. The country team worked at community level, in villages and at provincial level, strengthening the public health system. It also worked at national level to ensure reliable information about the nutritional situation reached the wider humanitarian community. Covid-19 prevention was integrated into all interventions and additional response activities were implemented, such as the disinfection of health facilities and public places, cash assistance, psychosocial support and the distribution of hygiene kits to affected populations.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The HR intern will be under the direct management of HR Officer to carry out day-to-day HR Department tasks and activities as per approved weekly/monthly action plan by HR officer. Communication with applicants, arrange written test, interview, scan soft employee data, arrange recruitment documents, arrange and organize the HR file located in stock.

 

Liaising Process:

  • Assist HR officer with writing formal letters/correspondences to authorities for administrative tasks of invitation, entry visa, visa renewal or extension, new work permit, work permit renewal and extension also TIN registration number.
  • Assist HR officer with obtaining registration card/ID card for new expats and newly hired national staff to the country.
  • Cancel expat and national staff’s work permit after they leave mission and keep update the filing system with the approval of HR officer
  • Maintain a proper working communication with high respect to internal rules of Ministries of Economy, Foreign Affairs, Interior Affairs, Labour and Social Affairs and Directorates of Border Police, Passport and TIN Registration
  • Assist HR officer in running the process of getting new or extension of work permit for national staff and expats, also make sure all national and international staff are having valid work permit
  • Assist HR officer in running the process of getting new TIN registration number for national staff and expats also make sure all national and international staff are having TIN registration number
  • Give regular update and report to HR officer and HR DHOD for all works and tasks follow up, process, pending and completion
  • Assist HR officer with process of Per Diem and COLA for national and expats also coordinate with finance department to fulfil the needs
  • Assist HR officer for all administrative work related to expats medical insurance and coordinate well with the medical center for expats checkup.
  • Support HR officer and HR DHOD on daily HR operations

 

Recruitment Process:

  • Assist HR officer with informing candidates via (Email & Phone) for the written test and interview schedule and result
  • Assist HR officer with organizing the written test and interview (coordinate with logistics and security department if needed)
  • Assist HR officer with employee personal file and make sure the new hired employee submit their data
  • Give regular update and report to HR officer and HR DHOD for all works and tasks follow up, process, pending and completion
  • Assist HR officer in conducting and schedule induction briefing for new hired staff and make sure he/she receive a full induction briefing with all departments
  • Exchanging information, idea and expecting advice according to HR Officer’s request
  • Assist HR officer to ensure recruitment process take place in transparency, accountability, and integrity.
  • Support HR officer and HR DHOD on daily HR operations

 

  • Assist HR Officer with proper filing of all hard-signed also the scanning on electronic archive
  • Assist HR Officer to ensure national and international staff data file are in place and updated
  • Assist HR Officer in facilitating the audit process.

Job Requirement

Qualification/level of study:

Fresh Graduates of University 2022-2023 Field of BBA, Computer Science and Engineering

Skills required:

  • Excellent of written and speaking Dari, Pashto
  • Fluency in oral and written communication in English plus having good representation and negotiation skills.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Sense of responsibilities and highly motivation and commitment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and ensure quality work with tight deadlines,
  • Organized and efficient in daily tasks.
  • Analytical thinking, provide suggestion and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of organizational behavior.
  • High ethical standards and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Is able to facilitate discussions 
  • Has excellent networking/communication skills,

  • Logical thinking
  • Time and priority management

 

As well as the intern shall have:
