About Nasim Osmani Livestock: Nasim Osmani Livestock Nasim Osmani Livestock was founded in year 2021 in Kandahar Daman district and started semi-sheep-farming for the first time. During its initial two years this farm was able to prepare a flock of 2000 sheep from three different local verities. The farm was the first to formulate and produce sheep feed both for raising sheep and lamb weight gaining in Afghanistan.
Job Description
Managing Nasim Osmani Farm and directly working with health team to practice all health and hygiene policies. Planning, recording and keeping track of vaccination and other fixed/required applications in order to maintain flock health. Dealing with all emergencies and performing both as a practitioner and surgeon.
Working with feed and nutrition department. Establishing and maintaining veterinary laboratory.
Training and managing farm team members and new commers.
Reporting all performed tasks according to Nasim Osmani Livestock procedures and standards.
Adopting NOL culture and supporting its conducts.
Job Requirement
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in veterinary or animal science, or other relevant areas.
• Master’s degree with three (3) years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Proven practical experience and training in broiler farm management.
• Strong writing, communication, and training skills.
• Work experience with national or international companies, organizations, and NGOs is preferred.
• Fluent Pashto and Dari.
• Proficiency in written English is required.
• Skillful to work with countrymen.
• Determined to work longer hours during busy days.
