Job Description
The Deputy Director supports optimal project impact by aligning program activities and providing oversight of security measures. This position reports to the Afghanistan Field Coordinator.. This position will be filled by an expat with extensive experience with the international based NGO.
Job Requirement
- Coordinate communications and partnership between Project managers, field coordinator and the US Global Headquarters
- Develop and maintain an ongoing field activity reporting system that provides data, statistics and pertinent information to the GHQ and other relevant parties.
- Initiate recommendations for project development and expansion in Afghanistan, including trainings for program staff.
- Assist the organization as signing authority on MSDEV documents
- Ensure that all necessary security guidelines and practices are implemented at all levels, for both in-country and visiting teams and partners.
- Assist in onboarding new expat staff members
- Other responsibilities as assigned
