Job Description
Job Summary:
The Procurement & Logistics Manager is responsible for day to day activities of procurement and logistics. S/he make sure compliance with the KRO policies and procedures. In coordination with security s/he is looking after the vehicles maintenance and working together with administration on any event management requests comes.
Main Responsibilities:
Undertake procurement of goods and services, in line with KRO procurement policy, of supplies and equipment required for office management and operations, and for project and program activities;
Collect quotations from different suppliers and prepare quotations comparative table;
Prepare and review the purchase orders and contracts;
Ensure up-to-date inventory and supply filing system in place and all items are recorded in a timely and correct manner;
Ensure that all assets are received in good condition, certify that the supplies are appropriate and in accordance to the specifications required, as indicated in the purchase order form;
Contribute towards the development of procurement and logistics plans and processes ensuring compliance with wider logistics policies and standards.
Responsible for overseeing and monitoring asset management and updating asset list as required
Ensure on a weekly and monthly basis that physical and theoretical stocks are matching;
Report timely on damages and losses of goods under his/her responsibility;
Follow-up procurement & supplies with related departments and provincial offices
Any other tasks assigned by regional director
Job Requirement
Bachelor degree in asset management, logistics or business administration
At least 3 years revenant working experience with a satisfactory performance in the same or similar functional area preferably with national and/or international organizations
Experienced field worker with background from complex emergencies and with experience from working in a difficult security environment
Outstanding team building and management skills.
Ability to make decision and get measurable results through a diverse team.
Fluency in written and oral communication skills (English and local languages)
