Job Description

Scope of work:

HR Officer Learning and Development (L&D) is part of the HR team reporting to the HR Manager. S/he will support the HR Manager with implementation strategies for learning and development of the RMO team. The incumbent will be mainly dealing with follow-up on the learning and development goals set up for staff and track of achievement in the area. He/She is also responsible for the day-to-day care of administrative things of the HR unit.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR Manager and facilitate staff learning, development, and inductions for all staff in the RMO.
  • Collate staff learning objectives to guide in planning Learning and Development programmes
  • Assist HR Manager in identifying and providing training and development for the RMO staff based on performance appraisal and training need assessment.

 

 

  • Conduct inductions and orientation programmes for new staff, and consultants and manage the process to ensure new staff are included within 3 months of joining the organization.
  • Disseminate new policy guidelines to staff in simple and appropriate languages
  • Support team in recruitments and induction processes
  • Complying with and promoting all SCA policies such as Whistleblowing, Fraud, Health, and Safety.
  • Manage the online attendance system and document the information; give a report of attendance to the relevant managers
  • Participate in the inter-unit coordination meetings and do any other assignment delegated by the HR Manager.
  • Conduct any other task within the field of competency assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Economics, Business Administration, or any other related professional field.
  • At least 1-2 years’ relevant experience within an NGO, or similar organization in the field of Human resources.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A Team worker and troubleshooting skills
  • Honest, pro-active, and well-mannered.
  • Computer skill at operator level, especially with MS Office packages.
  • Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and English, both written and spoken
