About Social Association for Development of Afghanistan (SADA): SADA is a non-governmental, non-for-profit and non-political humanitarian and development organization. SADA was founded in 1994 when Afghanistan was severely affected by internal war and access to any humanitarian facilities and services was practically debarred. SADA was established with a vision of “To alleviate poverty and human sufferings to see educated, self-reliant, peaceful and developed Afghanistan” by enhancing access to quality, safe and free education, improving health conditions, upgrading local agriculture & irrigation systems, increasing awareness around hygiene and sanitation, and advocating for the rights of women & children. SADA started its first operation in 1996 in Kandahar province by implementing a UNOPS funded WASH project with the total value of $12,657. SADA gradually expanded its operations across the southern region by developing partnerships with UNOPS, UNDP, UNWFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, Malala Fund, Street Child/Children in Crisis, GPE, JICA, Action Aid, ZOA Refugee Care, Royal Netherland Embassy, PRT and the government of Afghanistan. SADA is able to successfully implement hundreds of small and large humanitarian and development projects in several sectors in different parts of the country, which have greatly contributed in improving the living conditions of hundreds of thousands of needy people. SADA through its community-based-approach built up strong relations with communities and gained a special acceptance among them. On the basis of service delivery, the organization has created excellent reputation among donor organizations, partner organization, government officials and other stakeholders. SADA is headquartered in Kabul and currently has sub offices in Kandahar, Zabul, Helmand, Sari-Pul, Faryab, Samangan and Urozgan provinces.
Job Description
His role reports directly to MEAL manager. This role has the responsibility to collect, clean, analyze, store and share the data with the project staff and project management team respecting the information-sharing protocols.
We expect this role to develop the multiple questionnaires via M&E tools and share the link with Community Mobilizers and finally generate the need assessment report and share the report with project and organization senior staff. The post holder is also responsible to develop the project management information system and the project activity tracker and orienting the team on how to use the tools and keep updating the project databases practically and effectively.
We also expect this role to conduct the M&E visits using the standard checklist and quality benchmarks and then share the report with the project officer to bring timely corrections and bring back the project on the right track.

Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure that all activities are implemented according to the activity plan and in line with the project objectives.
Facilitate workshops, meetings and any other programs according to the need of project.
participate and support the development of the M&E tools for project on different levels.
Undertake regular monitoring of project activities to ensure that the quality and quantity of the program activities being carried according to Project.
Prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program.
Advise, and if necessary, train, the field staff on the monitoring and evaluation procedures.
Complete and submit regular reports on the monitoring and evaluation findings in the field to Project Manager, which includes reporting of field visits.
provide technical assistance to field teams during implementation of activities.
Monitor field teams related to training activities and assess and report on progress to supervisor.
Ensure that the Monitoring tools are based on the project indicators and measuring the project objectives.
Monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems and quality controls are in place. (Provide proper feedback to the team based on the finding).
Communicate closely with the field staff of the project for better reporting of the project.
Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activities to Project Manager.
Prepare the M&E Framework and Tools and Track down the project activities.
Conduct any other activity assigned by the Project officer.
Keep records of any visits, phone calls or emails received from other project staff and community workers requesting support.
Attend at all meetings arranged by the Project officer.
Any other relevant tasks given by line manager.
Job Requirement
Experience and Knowledge:
• University Degree preferably in Business Administration, project management, or related field;
• At least five (5) years of work experience in the design and implementation of M&E in development projects or relevant projects;
• Proven experience of M&E in projects implemented by international NGOs and Other bodies;
• Proven experience in designing tools for data collection, data entry, analysis and production of reports;
• Demonstrated good IT skills
• Proficiency in English and Dari and/or Pashtu (written and spoken)
Skills and Abilities:
Proven experience in conducting the M&E visits.
Fluency in both oral and written English.
Proven experience in developing M&E report for the senior management team.
Practical experience in data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, data sharing, and data storage.
Familiarity with the M&E tools.
Ability to develop the assessment form in the M&E Tools.
Ability to analyze the data after data collection.
Ability to generate a need assessment report.
Ability to develop the project logical framework and M&E matrix.
Fluence in both national languages is a plus point.
Experience of working in the crisis context of the country is a strong asset.
Acquaintance with the political and cultural context of the country.
Ability to work under tense and strict deadlines.
