Job Description
Summary of Key Functions
The primary responsibility of the incumbent is to: Provides administrative and logistic support to the district sub/site offices, provide data management and reporting support to project, provide technical assistance in data collection to staff of project, computerize, compile, review and analyze field monitoring data, prepare monthly, quarterly and other periodical progress and activity reports, establish, strengthen and maintain both hard and soft filing system.

Supervises Watchmen, Cook and Office Cleaner
Collaborates with Provincial and District teams
Duty Locations
Based in Jaghori /Nawor with regular field visits to the communities
Provides administrative and logistic support to the district sub/site offices, teams and field operation of Rural Assistance Program.
Processes procurement, store/keeping and distribution of project materials;
Assists in the logistics of the community mobilization, training programs.
Exchanges communication and correspondence between the various offices through various suitable and effective mediums;
Keeps record of project personnel’s presence, leave, and absence;
Prepares staff CTO schedule;
Coordinates STAR admin and logistic activities with other programs at district level.
2.Provides technical assistance to the STAR staff in data collection, computerizes, compiles, reviews and analyzes data
Collects baseline data
Computerizes STAR operation data
Compiles and critically reviews STAR operation data;
Analyzes the program operation data in a way that helps in sound management decision making
Maintains and utilizes computerized database developed by STAR to store and process STAR information and output indicators.
Provides technical assistance and feedback to field staff in data collection
Prepares monthly, quarterly and other periodical progress reports
Prepares progress reports from the data received from the field;
Prepares quantitative and narrative monthly and other periodical reports through a process of interpretation analysis of data;
Responds to information requests from different CARE Afghanistan departments, other agencies, donors, and authorities
Translates reports into national languages for staff and other audiences;
Takes, compiles and prepares final drafts of the minutes of meetings.
Establishes, strengthens and maintains both hard and soft filing system at district level Establishes, strengthens and maintains both hard and soft filing system in such a way that is responsive to STAR record keeping needs
Maintains separate hard and soft files for various sort of surveys, reports, project files, incoming and outgoing correspondence,
Keeps the filing system up to date all the time
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirement
Education:
At least high school graduate, university degree is preferred.
Work Experience:
At least 3 years in Administration, Procurement/Logistics, data management, report writing and MIS preferably with international NGOs.
Languages Skills:
Fluency in written and spoken English Dari and Pashto languages.
