About Womanity Foundation: WF Background in Afghanistan: The Womanity Foundation (WF) is a nonpolitical and nonprofit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland and registered in the United Kingdom as well as with ministry of Economy in Afghanistan. Inspired by the UN Millennium Development Goals no. 3 and no. 5, Womanity aims to provide good quality education to girls in Afghanistan to offer them better academic and career opportunities and give them the opportunity to positively contribute in the society. According to the strategy of Womanity and collaboration with the Ministry of Education MOE, Womanity refined what it would like to be its unique value added in Afghanistan and reformulated the scope and reach of the program advancing girls education in Afghanistan. The foundation launched in 2011 the program “School in a Box: Advancing Girls’ Education in Afghanistan” and considering the needs of technology in the country, Womanity added a program named GCC to focus on the vocational training opportunities for the girls in grade 10 to 12 in the impact schools. During year 2022 Womanity Foundation, conducts Coding and Web Development Classes to Computer Institute of (TVET) on the subject of cooperation with Institute on enhancing capacity of female students of institute – provide support of career opportunities to students – Capacity building of Institute Trainers and equipping institute computer labs of institute.
Job Description
Womantiy Foundation is recruiting Coding and Web Development Trainer in Kabul Afghanistan.
The Trainer will teach CTI (Computer Technology Institute) students Coding and Web Development. The course will include teaching latest version of HTML, CSS, Responsive Web Design, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, React, SQL and PHP. The trainees must be able to develop a website including both back-end and front-end, at the end of the course.
Job Requirement
- Teach students of CTI on Coding and Web development proposed topics through online session and when CTI physical classes started, classes would be taken physically.
- Receive lesson plan and get ready accordingly for each session.
- Each session or every day classes should be at least 90 minutes.
- Trainer covers two shifts of training per day and six days a week
- Prepare a comprehensive presentation to students every day.
- Teaching through a methodology that all students understand well
- Share all teaching materials with students before training is started.
- List all class needs for better teaching and request from office.
- Make sure only CTI students attend classes.
- Report students with miss behavior to supervisor at earliest.
- Enter all required data in database.
- Trainer should have a commitment of long term working with Womanity.
- Obey all the rules and regulations of CTI and TVET, as Womanity and all its team is bound to accept their rules and regulations according to signed MOU with them.
- Wear proper Hijab (long Black Hijab with Islamic veil and a facemask) when classes are shifted to physical or during online classes if there is need of face to face communication.
- If there is need of video sharing, trainer must wear an Islamic covering veil and consider all the rules and regulations presented through government authorities.
- Guidance on final project to students and supervise each group to develop web pages.
- It would be desirable to have candidates that can represent good role models for students.
The Candidate must have the following capabilities:
- Bachelor in Computer Sciences
- Fluency in English Language
- Excellent teaching skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding best teaching methodologies.
- Ability of teaching and controlling well the class.
