About Kandahar Refugee Organization: Kandahar Refugee Organization (KRO) is a national-level, non-political, non-profitable, non- governmental organization working for humanitarian and rehabilitation roots in Afghanistan. Further, KRO is an Afghan organization that is committed to the development of the local economy and building local capacity for sustainable development. Thus, we have an established specialized network in many provinces of the country in order to design, and implement related activities in the field of food security, research, capacity building, disaster management, and placement.
Job Description
1. Supporting the Project Manager in overseeing and leading projects from start to end.
2. Responsible for the completeness, quality, and timely submission of project progress reports.
3. Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of the projects.
4. Represent the organization through participation at provincial level meetings, coordination group meetings, stakeholder meetings, and other social and governmental meetings in the province;
5. Orient project staff on the project scope and specific and individual activities;
6. Write regular progress and completion reports on the implementation of project activities for both internal and external use.
7. Support the project manager in day-to-day management and supervision of the project staff, including recruitment, staff evaluation, and on-the-job orientation and training.
8. Promote team building and open communication among field staff and the main office.
9. Support the project manager in project budget management and project expenditures and put in place responsible accountability systems to ensure responsible and efficient project spending.
10. Manage the administrative, HR, Logistics, and procurement aspects of the project.
11. Ensure a safe and secure working environment for the project staff where all project staff is working in the best of their interest.
12. Ensure that all operations and implementations are according to the organizational rules and policies and align with donor requirements.

14. Performing regular project site visits throughout the south region in order to trace the project as per requirements and schedule.
15. Offering new solutions to the project within limited resources and ensuring the project is completed within a certain period of time.
16. Support the project manager in developing new project proposals.
17. Develop schedules and plans for assigned projects.
18. Prepare presentations on the project's progress.
19. Ensure good communication within KRO offices, stakeholders, local communities, and local authorities.
20. Coordinate the project activities with local government authorities, communities, and related stakeholders at the provincial level
21. Maintain internal control of project activities at aregional level.
22. Make sure that the project activities are being implemented according to the project work plan, performance indicators, and targets.
23. Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration At least 4 years of project management experience
Excellent communication skills and English Proficiency, both oral and written
Excellent computer skills in MS Office Package
Outstanding team building and management skills
Negotiation and decision-making skills
Ability to make decisions and get measurable results through a diverse team.
Ability to manage and direct a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.
