TACT was founded in 2010 by a group of professional and intellectual Afghans who devoted most of their time in serving the Afghan people in the contexts of education, healthcare and humanitarian assistances in the country.

Job Description

TACT is partnering with the UNICEF Afghanistan for the implementation of a Child Protection project”provision of child protection life-saving services and immediate humanitarian support to children and their communities in khost province “.  Therefore, the organization needs your services to support the Project Director as Admin Officer with the following job description:

  1. Provides quality administrative support and assistance to the Project Director
  2. To look arrangement of meetings, workshops, and conferences of the related office
  3. To support procurement process of items required for the implementation of the activities including maintaining, purchasing documentation, participate in purchasing committees
  4. Arranges travel and accommodations for Project Director and staff
  5. To look after arrangement of personnel, vehicles, correspondence, and other files and keeping them proper and update manually and computerized
  6. To look after providing, distributing and keeping proper balance and update of office stationary
  7. To ensure all legal obligation of offices and guest houses (lease agreement, maintenance contracts etc.) are fulfilled and renewed in a timely manner
  8. To ensure that all utility bills (electricity, water, telephones, Internet and etc.) are paid on time
  9. To ensure a healthy and safe working environment is provided to all staff
  10. To ensure the reception function of District Offices meet the required standard
  11. To ensure a healthy and proper food and tea are served to staff
  12. Maintain staff attendance and leave register
  13. Maintain stores and stock records
  14. Ensure high standards of sanitation in the offices and houses
  15. Coordinate the compilation of all district level reports, ensuring that the reports are received by the provincial offices in a timely manner
  16. Any other task assigned by the line manager

Job Requirement

  1. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in relevant field
  2. Have valid Bachelor’s in Businesses Administration, or any other relevant field
  3. Having good communication skills
  4. Having experience at the pressure working environment
  5. Having well and enough knowledge and experience of Ms. Office
