Job Description

Job Summary:          

The Admin & Finance Officer will be acting under supervision Regional Manager. He/she will be responsible for overall financial and administrative issues at Herat regional level as well as providing assistance to Regional Manager and Projects Officers in providing project financial documents.

Responsibilities:

To ensure the management of overall administrative issue at Herat level in accordance to SDO policy
To ensure a proper filing system for both financial and administerial documents.
To prepare monthly ledgers and calculate monthly closing cash and bank accounts.
To prepare the procurement documentation and proceed according SDO policies
To raise information about all SDO manuals, especially in finance and logistic
To reconcile monthly project advances against expenses.
To provide and oversee staff monthly attendance sheet and payrolls
To ensure an appropriate inventory system based on the SDO policies
To ensure organizing bi-monthly staff meetings at Herat level
To record employee personal data (both hard and soft)
Any other responsibilities delegated by Regional Manager

Job Requirement

Qualifications:

At least 3 years working experience in finance/Admin (Experience of working with NGO’s are and asset)
University in Accounting, Economics, or related field from recognized college
Good communication, interpersonal and team skills
Knowledge of working with Excel and Word
Complete passion and dedication towards working and learning
English Language skills both oral and written
