About Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO): Introduction to RSDO Razi Social Development Organization- RSDO is an Afghan NGO founded on April 11, 2008, and registered with the Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan. It was established in Herat city but then set up sub-offices in Ghor, Daykundi provinces by delivering social development services to vulnerable and marginalized people in remote communities. RSDO’s Background RSDO firstly initiated the primary activities in 2002 under the name of “Abu Hanifeh Orphan High School”, assisting orphan children who lost their parents and families during the long-lasting war in Afghanistan to learn and build their future. Later on, with the financial support of the Japan Embassy, it has constructed a high school building for orphans and expanded the activities of orphans with the support of HELP Germany as well. Throughout years of hard-working, RSDO slowly developed and now has functioning offices in all west zone provinces of Afghanistan with more than 200 staff. RSDO’s mandate RSDO’s mandate is delivering humanitarian assistance to vulnerable households in the west zone provinces of Afghanistan through the financial support of the UN and International Organizations. RSDO's Mission RSDO dedicated all efforts to contribute in none violent, developed, and prosperous Afghanistan where both men and women live and respect each other through running services in the sector of women empowerment, education, agriculture, capacity building, and livelihood. Job Description

  • Overall daily operation and management of the Vocational Training Center (VTC) including but not limited to: ensuring that the training centers’ facilities are maintained adequately (i.e. heating cooling ventilation lighting are appropriate); have all the required training materials tools equipment (furniture tables chairs) of good quality and sufficient quantity.
  • Daily monitor and follow-up on the trainers’ attendance and training quality and performance. Including follow-up on the use of lesson plans and curricula.
  • Daily monitor and follow-up on the attendance of enrolled participants students’ progress drop-outs (reasons for dropping out).
  • Daily monitor and track use of training materials (consumable and non-consumable).
  • Develop and keep updated inventory lists of received training materials (consumable and non-consumable).
  • Develop and keep updated assets lists received in the training center.
  • Develop and keep updated databases on enrolled participants/graduates with the required fields of information.
  • Manage the digital attendance tracking system of students and casual staff in the VTC. 
  • Follow-up on enrolled participants and or graduates track progress drop-outs (reasons for dropping out) keep updated data on graduates.
  • Develop and maintain an updated Excel Data Base (soft copy) of all enrolled program participants drop outs and successful graduates disaggregated per age gender residency status (returnee IDP host community) skill location type of program (vocational training or apprenticeship) start date end date contact information plus all other required fields determined by the program. 
  • Supervise the trainers and trainees as well as other casual staff (guards cleaners).
  • Active support to the Market Linkage Officer in the maintenance and update of the national TVET (AVI) platform with all pertinent information of graduates based on the requirements from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MoLSA) and/or TVET.
  • Active support to his/her supervisor in vocational skills’ announcement and enrolment of participants based on the beneficiary selection criteria.
  • Any other vocational training activity determined necessary by the Program Department during the implementation of the program.
  • Review and verify transactions based on a refined understanding of a subject(s) applied to a specialized area of work or in supporting a unit.
  • Acknowledge/clarify instructions related to manual tasks designed by the supervisor.
  • Communicate needs to effectively carry out manual tasks.
  • Sequence and prioritize deliverables ensuring established delivery timeframes.
  • Representation of the program within communities and government and private stakeholders.
