About Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance: Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-profit organization established in 1987 by a team of Afghan volunteers, registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. CHA is a multi-sectoral organization implementing Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture, Rural Development/ Social Protection, and Disaster Risk Reduction projects in different provinces of the country. Currently, CHA is looking for qualified candidates for the position of PSN Focal Points. The candidates will be responsible for identifying PSN cases in the mentioned provinces, attending project coordination meetings, and reporting to the line manager on daily and weekly bases.

Job Description

  • Identification of PSN cases
  • Specifying beneficiaries as per established standards.
  • The provincial PSN focal point is responsible for every individual PSN case from the accountability of cash payment and clearance to the donor and other responsible parties.
  • Conducting PSN network meetings on a provincial level.
  • Recognizing and analyzing beneficiary’s needs.
  • Conducing meetings with the participation of respective entities.
  • Rehabilitating and strengthening contributor networks in the covered areas.
  • Attending sessions pertaining to a sector.
  • Regularly contacting governmental, non-governmental departments, and local authorities with regard to the project.
  • Providing output on recent carried activities of projects at weekly sectorial meetings.
  • Preparing and delivering documents to Project Manager when expected.
  • Putting in beneficiaries’ information in the database.
  • Participating in meetings held at the zone level.
  • Joining cultural workshops.
  • Keeping the organization’s secrets.
  • Prepare the reports and communicate with donors.

Job Requirement

The successful applicants will need to address the following criteria:

  • University degree in agriculture, social since, or another related field.
  • Adequate ability in beneficiary’s assessment, community awareness, and controlling the assessment process.
  • Ability to analyze and sort out problems
  • Experience with participatory community development principles and practices
  • Report Writing skills
  • Excellent communication in Dari, Pashto, and English as well as good reading and writing, and prefer those who speak Pashto fluently.
  • Sufficient knowledge of several computer applications, in particular, MS Excel and word

 

Travel: the successful applicant will have regular traveling to(The districts) of Kabul, Parwan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Wardak, and Logar provinces.
