Job Description

ASLO  seeking a program manager to be responsible for Planning, organizing, managing, leading and look off the overall operations of all the projects. He/She be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. The program manager will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.

In order to be successful in this role, he/she will need to have prior experience in both program and team management.

Responsibilities of program manager:

  • Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders and donors.
  • Collaborating with project managers/coordinators to compile monthly and annual reports.
  • Collaborating with recruitment committee for hiring of employees.
  • Evaluating performance and productivity of the projects staff.
  • Training project managers/coordinators and other staff managers and staff.
  • Ensuring all the projects goals are achieved are efficiently and timely.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.       
  • Identifying grant funding opportunities.
  • Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the Organization.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
  • Assist the Executive Director in fundraising to support the sustainability of organization.
  • Assist the Executive Director in Board meetings on annual reporting, new strategy year plan and audit report.
  • To ensure organization website to be updated.
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.

Job Requirement

  • Master's degree in management or related field with at least 5 years working and grant writing experience with the National and international organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
  • Experience in program management.
  • Strong communication skill.
  • Strong command on English languages.
