Job Description

  1. Preparing TORs for new positions.
  2. Preparing vacancy announcements, applications screening, long listing, shortlisting based on criteria.
  3. Setting interviews for shortlisted candidates.
  4. Traveling to provinces for recruiting project staff.
  5. Document verifications of employees and reference check.
  6. Preparing and completing personal files for core and project staff.
  7. Preparing offer letters, salary negotiations with new staff, contracting staff
  8. Preparing exit check list and clearance form.
  9. Preparing and updating employees data base for Kabul and projects
  10. Preparing ID cards for staff.
  11. Preparing orientation check list for staff.
  12. Preparing interview reports on each position to donors.
  13. Coordinating in-country orientation for all national advisors/personnel.
  14. Completing employee orientation checklist.
  15. Planning and scheduling employee orientation with relevant department.
  16. Employee introduction physical and in email.
  17. Preparing business card, desk, chair, and IT email address when required.
  18. Sharing all related forms with employees.
  19. Preparing and presenting presentation on HR policies to new employees.
  20. And updating all staff on any new organizational policies.
  21. Coordinating HR issues including time-sheets, payroll, leave requests, leave records, and staff movement sheet for VDO core and project staff.
  22. Produce monthly Leave Tracking Sheets for both core and project staff.
  23. Time sheet tracking sheet for all staff both in Kabul and from provinces.
  24. Preparing employee’s monthly payroll.
  25. Organizing trainings and events for staff for building their capacities based on assessment of their capacities and areas of need.
  26. Organizing social gatherings for staff for orienting them and creating an enabling environment for all staff and get to know each other.

Job Requirement

  • Education in HR management,  business administration or economics.
  • Perfect English skills both oral and written.
  • Prior experience in HR management with international organizations.
  • At least 5 years of similar experience in the field of HR & relavant fields.
  • Willingness to work out of official working hours as well.
  • Willingness to travel to provinces and abroad if instructed by VDO management.
