Job Description

Kakar Advocates is hiring an Interviewer. Candidates must have minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor degree in Law and Political Science or Journalism.

Job Requirement

  • Contact individuals by telephone, email, or in person, from a list to schedule the interview date and time
  • Explain the interview objectives and procedures to interviewees
  • Collect data using interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, etc.
  • Interview individuals to obtain relevant information by asking questions from a prepared outline
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies in interviewees' responses using appropriate questioning or explanation.
  • Where possible, record the responses of the interviewee with a tape recorder
  • Review data obtained from the interviews for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify and report problems in obtaining valid data.
  • Collaborate with other team members in the interviews' planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Deliver the data collected during the interviews to the designated project coordinator or the project lead after the interview
  • Transcribe the interviews from the tape recorder or the notes and deliver the transcripts to the designated project coordinator or the project lead after the interview.
