About Kandahar Refugee Organization (KRO): About Us The Kandahar Refugee Organization – (KRO) is a national level, local, non-political, Non-profitable, Non-governmental organization working for humanitarian and rehabilitation basis in Afghanistan. The organization was established with legal permission from the Ministry of Economy, Afghanistan on 16th January 2019 in Kandahar by Afghan entrepreneurs and agriculture specialists. The organization has MOU with departments such as the Afghanistan National Agriculture Sciences and Technology University ANASTU, Afghanistan National Disaster Management Association ANDMA, Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock and Department of Education DoE. The organization also has projects with UN agencies such as the United Nations World Food Program UNWFP, UN Medair. KRO is an Afghan organization that is committed to the development of the local economy and building local capacity for sustainable development. We have an established specialized network in all of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces; our full-time regional coordinators are responsible for implementing and coordinating all of our field activity that includes food security, research, , capacity building, disaster management, and placement.
Job Description
Contribute towards the development of logistics plans and processes ensuring compliance with wider logistics policies and WFP standards
Responsible for the supervision, monitoring, and detailed recording of all warehouse and stock movement activities consistent with KRO procedures requiring complete accuracy and timely delivery.
Responsible for overseeing and monitoring asset management and updating asset list as required
Ensure on a weekly and monthly basis that physical and theoretical stocks are matching;
Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution operations and ensuring effective & safe use of warehouse equipment and items
Organize warehouses, process shipments, maintain personal hygiene as per procedures
Receive and record new stock as it comes in and move stock on to trucks or store shelves as needed
Create schedules, monitor stock levels at the warehouses and know when to replenish stock
Compliance to organization integrity principles at all stages of operations.
Present daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports;
Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years’ experience in the related field.
Knowledge in logistics, warehouse management and materials control
Knowledge on good warehousing practices
Excellent communication skills and English Proficiency, both oral and written
Excellent computer skills in word processing and excel
