Job Description
- Setup and manage the community centre with supports of project team
- Support the team to conduct awareness in the communities in terms of establishment of community centres.
- Facilitate regular and on-going communication with the ACTED team, partner organizations, government authorities and CDCs in the district and communities’ levels.
- Support the community mobilizers in terms of Information Dissemination Campaigns within the ISET communities, beneficiaries’ selections and any other related field activities
- He/she will be responsible for the overall oversight and management of the Community Center in the targeted area.
- Ensuring activities are running on a day-to-day basis and providing support to the Community Center staff.
- Instruct and apply best and effective practices in administrative tasks
- Assist in purchase of all basic supplies for CC, stationery etc, maintain stock, inventory record keeping and updating them on timely basis for all assets.
- He/she will work under the Project Officer and support with any activities at the Community Center.
- Ability to work at community base level with enough understanding of the community based response approaching and cultures.
- Work closely with the Project Officer and Project Manager to ensure that the Community Center activities are in accordance with the approved program description.
- Managing and reporting all expense of the Community Centre on timely manner.
- Preparing all of the relevant sheets and documents for the monthly and quarterly meetings with the community people and stakeholders.
- Following donor rules and regulations, and ACTED policies.
- Any other tasks by the line manager.
Job Requirement
- Proven work experience as an Administrative, Administrator or similar role
- Solid knowledge of office procedures
- Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor or master degree, the master will be given priorities; additional qualifications, Office Administration are a plus
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Experience with including marginalized populations, especially disabled people and house hold women, in community activities.
