Job Description
Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to establish coordination with the stakeholders particularly community elders and leaders, identify beneficiaries and support the project with the Cash distribution process. The position is based in Ghor, Badghis and Herat
The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Conducting field visits, household assessment and mapping of the most at risk area with close coordination of the WCUK program team and the Project officer to Identify and select the most vulnerable households for project intervention in Badghis,Herat and Ghor.
- Will do selection, verification and enter the beneficiaries in KOBO.
- Undertake negotiations with the selected financial service provider for the establishment of a cash delivery mechanism for the provision of cash assistance to target beneficiaries.
- Establish close coordination with the stakeholders particularly community elders and leaders, identify beneficiaries and support them through the distribution of cash to target beneficiaries.
- Support the preparation phase and roll-out of the UNOCHA cash delivery mechanism.
- Support the design of the cash and voucher programme guidelines and procedures, including SOPs; and verify beneficiaries for cash distribution in Ghor, Herat and Badghis
- Organize project planning missions, meetings and briefing sessions;
- Assess project performance including utilization of resources and achievement of planned targets.
- Monitor cooperating partners and financial service provider compliance with programme guidelines;
- Finalize and maintain detailed beneficiary lists for cash and vouchers;
- Conduct Post Distribution Monitoring and data collection
- Support and adapt the existing monitoring system for cash and vouchers;
- Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to WCUK’s Child Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be creative problem solver and foster a solution-based approach to management.
Experience and mandatory criteria:
- Have bachelor degree in relevant field
- Enough work experience in the context of Herat and Ghor with the communities
- 2-3 years’ experience in community mobilization and cash and voucher project;
- Have enough child protection in emergencies knowledge
- Good Computer Skill
- Good local language Skills
- Excellent Communication, coordination, skills
- Good report writing and presentation skills
- Excellent local communication and facilitation skills (oral and written).
