About Future Generations Afghanistan: Future Generations (FG) is the collective name for an international network of non-governmental organizations including FG Country Programs in Asia and Africa, Future Generations University (FGU) and its alumni in 17 countries, academia, and individual’s experts. The original charitable organization, Future Generations, was established in 1992 for the purpose of learning from, and building upon the world’s most successful examples of community empowerment and social change. It is complemented by the Future Generations Graduate School (Future Generations University) in 2006 in the State of West Virginia with authorization to provide a Master's Degree in Applied Community Change focus on Conservation and Peace building. The Future Generations Afghanistan (FGA) established in May 2002 and obtained its registration certificate from Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan in October 2005. Since 2007, FGA has been operational in Eastern Afghanistan, and successfully completed development and humanitarian programs in Nangarhar, Laghman , Kunar,Nuristan,Logar and Bamyan Logar Provinces.

Job Description

Conduct beneficiary profile survey in selected districts of Herat province and Plan, implement, and follow-up of all assigned assessment activities conducted in project site.

Job Requirement

  • Collect the data quantitative in nature using pre-designed beneficiary profile survey questionnaires.
  • Providing weekly data collection report to provincial coordinator.
  • Entering beneficiary profile survey data into designed database if needed.
  • Ensure all unit assessments are planned in line with relevant project and program objectives
  • Ensure relevant stakeholders and partners are engaged in assessment design and planning to ensure usefulness of products and maximum project impact;
  • In coordination with the data team, design data analysis plans to analyze all data collection
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical information provided in both technical factsheets and detailed written reports.
  • Organize and conduct field data collection according to data quality standards in targeted districts.
  • Travel to remote areas for data collection in targeted districts of Herat province.
  • Keep track of all progress and delays throughout unit projects and research cycles;
  • Monitor output achievement, project expenditure and ensure a timely completion of the projects from a program management perspective.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control checks of the survey questionnaire forms before and after the Survey.
  • Planning the data collection process according to weekly plan provided by provincial coordinator.
