Job Description
- Select women entrepreneurs through a technical assessment based on the pre-set criteria of the project.
- Carry our capacity assessment of women entrepreneurs and provide facilitation support to them for forming and strengthening women entrepreneur groups. The selected women entrepreneurs will be provided skill training on business management including financial management, production process, marketing, and expansion opportunities.
- provide business development services through hands-on and mentoring support to Women entrepreneurs .
- Support women entrepreneurs to establish joint women-lead enterprises, arrange training on production development and business management for the women entrepreneurs.
- 450 enterprises are assisted by start-up seed capital based on their business plan to expand their business/enterprise.
- Assist targeted women-entrepreneurs to develop their business plans, to improve their products’ quality and diversity, employ new techniques, increase number of employees, and expand the market coverage of their products. To implement the business-plan, need based materials, equipment, seed capital will be provided to each women-enterprises, and technical instructions, mentoring and monitoring support will be performed in a regular and ad hock basis.

- Develop Business Plan for the women entrepreneurs.
- Arrange training on production improvement and business management for the women entrepreneurs.
- Provide business development services for the women entrepreneurs.
- Provide need-based materials, equipment and capital to the selected women entrepreneurs for business promotion.
- Provide product improvement technological support to the women entrepreneurs.
- Provide packaging and branding equipment to the women entrepreneurs.
- Conduct value chain analysis of selected products.
- Provide market promotion services to the women entrepreneurs.
- Establish and run sales centers.
- Promote business linkage support for the women entrepreneurs through Afghanistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AWCCI) and Private Sector).
Job Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Commerce.
- 3 to 5 over all experience in program/ project implementation, out of which 2 to 3 years Proven experience in Enterprise and entrepreneurship development, community based entrepreneurship establishment and development.
- Working proficiency in the use of computer packages particularly, MS World, Excel, Power point.
- Good working knowledge of English, Pashto and Dari languages.
- Good report writing skills.
- Good communication and problem solving skills with experience in dealing with communities at district and community level.
- Good knowledge of current economic and entrepreneurship trends in Afghanistan.
