Job Description
Description for Finance Manager, General Objective:
The Finance Manager is responsible of overall management, designing, planning, and implementation of finance activities.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Finance manager Responsibilities including, but are not limited to the following duties. Monthly checking, editing and consolidating the overall ASIO accounts. Monthly reconciliation of Cash, bank, and advances accounts. Perform bank reconciliations, disbursements, clearance of receivables, overall cash management and monthly financial closures on a regular basis in accordance with corporate requirements. Submitting monthly invoices/Reports to donors for reimbursements and for settlement of financial issues. Managing the Central Finance Department and coordinating regional finance offices. Compliance of organizational financial procedures and completeness of documents. Carry out regular visits to Area/Field Offices as appropriate and assist in clarifying and
improving proper application of policies and procedures, and prepare comprehensive
reports on findings with improvement action plans.
Coordination with donors and senior management of ASIO on finance related matters.
Conducting the annual and project audits with external auditors.
Monthly budget monitoring and follow up of all program financial activities.
Conducting formal as well as on job training to the finance staff.
Update and advise the management team of financial status of the project.
Perform any other tasks assigned line manager
Job Requirement
Bachelor Degree at the field of Finance /Accounting.
Minimum 6 years of experiences in finance & knowing Quick book is must.
Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Quick book.
Fluency in speaking, writing and reading English, Dari and /or Pashtu.
Good interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work with a diverse team of
national and international staff and consultants.
Excellent communication skills
