Job Description

The Afghanistan Integrity Youth Activity (AIYA) Project aims to enhance youth capacity through secondary and post-secondary education initiatives. The Education Officer will play an important role in implementing educational programs, selecting beneficiaries, providing training, supervising educational activities, and reporting on project progress.

 

Beneficiary Selection:

 _ Develop criteria and processes for the selection of beneficiaries in alignment with project objectives.

 _ Conduct outreach to identify potential beneficiaries and facilitate the application process.

 

 Program Implementation:

 _ Support the design and implementation of educational programs tailored to the needs of selected youth.

 _ Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery and adherence to educational standards.

 

Training and Capacity Building:

 _ Provide training and orientation sessions for beneficiaries on academic and life skills.
 _ Develop training materials and resources that enhance educational outcomes and personal development.

 

Supervision of Educational Activities:

 _ Monitor and supervise educational activities to ensure they are conducted effectively and meet the program’s goals.

 _ Provide ongoing support and guidance to educators and facilitators involved in program delivery.
 

Monitoring and Evaluation:

 _ Develop and implement monitoring tools to assess the effectiveness of educational programs.
 _ Collect and analyze data on beneficiary progress and program impact, preparing regular reports for the project management team.

 

Reporting:

 _ Prepare comprehensive reports on program implementation, challenges, and successes.
 _ Present findings and recommendations to the project management team and stakeholders.
 _ Collaboration:
 _ Work closely with other team members, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance program effectiveness.
 _ Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.

Job Requirement

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in education program implementation, youth development, or related areas.
o Strong understanding of educational practices and youth development principles.
o Excellent organizational and project management skills.
o Proficient in data collection and analysis.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
