About RRSWO: RRSWO (Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization), is a Non-Governmental and Non-Profitable organization established in 2011 with registration no.( 3482) with Ministry of Justice and later registered with Ministry of Economy in 2019 (4865) as historic opportunity to jump-start progress for women and girls in Afghanistan. RRSWO acts on the fundamental premise that women and girls have the right to live a life free of discrimination, violence and poverty, and that gender equality is central to achieving development with reach, sizable expertise and significant resources. For too long, women have been forced to stand on the sidelines, whether the issue is political leadership, safety in conflict zones, protection from violence or access to public services. Now women must come to the centre as leaders, advocates and agents of change.
Job Description
- Conduct open awareness-raising session to the female Beneficiary in Herat/Jalalabad province.
- Provide individual and group psychosocial counselling to the project beneficiaries (female beneficiary) in Herat/Jalalabad targeted (displaced) communities.
- Organize awareness session on stress management and other related issues for the female beneficiary.
- Conducting professional psychological assessment and make sure to support all beneficiaries (female benificiary) in the Herat/Jalalabad province.
- Set up a monitoring system to evaluate the effectiveness and the impact of the planned individual and group psychological support on the beneficiaries (female).
- Conducting supporting trainings to the facilitators in order to identify any psychological issues that may our beneficiary dealing or struggling with.
- Collects psychological data and information through interview, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques; evaluates data to identify causes.
- Provides and/or arranges for therapeutic interventions as appropriate for those person that may dealing with.
- Providing better and update treatments for the clients in order to help displace women in the Herat/Jalalabad province.
- Provide conducive environment, which will aid client’s free expression through application of welcome services model.
- Participates in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures
- Participates in, leads, and/or coordinates training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills
- Working with close coordination of field monitor and facilitators to achieve the project goals
- Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports and submit to line-manager.
- Perform any other activities assigned by the project coordinator and line-manger
Job Requirement
Bachelor Degree, or equivalent knowledge to the related area
Experience:
- Three to five years’ experience to the relevant area
Required Skills:
- Ability to apply mental health counseling methods and techniques
- Knowledge of community mental health resources
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs and methodology
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical social work and mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures, and standards
- Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients' rights
- Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English,
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues,
- Ability to work with computer
