About RRSWO: RRSWO (Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization), is a Non-Governmental and Non-Profitable organization established in 2011 with registration no.( 3482) with Ministry of Justice and later registered with Ministry of Economy in 2019 (4865) as historic opportunity to jump-start progress for women and girls in Afghanistan. RRSWO acts on the fundamental premise that women and girls have the right to live a life free of discrimination, violence and poverty, and that gender equality is central to achieving development with reach, sizable expertise and significant resources. For too long, women have been forced to stand on the sidelines, whether the issue is political leadership, safety in conflict zones, protection from violence or access to public services. Now women must come to the centre as leaders, advocates and agents of change.

Job Description

Advocacy Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote community-based education projects.
  • Identify key advocacy issues and opportunities to influence policy and practice.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to align advocacy efforts with program goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with government officials, NGOs, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events to advocate for education initiatives.
  • Facilitate dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders to support education projects.

Awareness Raising:

  • Develop and disseminate advocacy materials, including reports, policy briefs, and communication campaigns.
  • Organize and conduct awareness-raising activities, such as workshops, seminars, and community events.
  • Utilize various media platforms to promote the importance of education and the organization's work.

Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of advocacy activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on advocacy efforts and outcomes for the Program Manager.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform advocacy strategies and improve effectiveness.

Policy Analysis and Research:

  • Conduct research on education policies, practices, and trends in Afghanistan.
  • Analyze policy developments and provide recommendations to support advocacy efforts.

Stay informed about relevant national and international education policies and initiatives.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. Preference will be given to master’s degree.
