Job Description

Position Summary:

The Program Officer will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of project’s within Qamar Foundation. The role will involve working closely with the Program Manager and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.

Reports to: Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning and Development, implement and monitor program activities in alignment with the organization's mission.
  • Coordinate the exchange of information and resources between departments within the organization to support collaborative projects to ensure consistency in external communication.
  • Provide support and guidance to program team to ensure effective management and timely implementation of program activities.
  • Propose interventions align to Qamar Foundation program objectives and coordinate with stakeholders/Donors to ensure program goals are met.
  • Prepare and submit program reports and documentation to donors and management.
  • Help in development of program budgets, monitor program expenditures, assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports and ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Follow-up on logistics and procurement with support staff for providing the on-time support by support staff for smooth running of program activities.
  • Establish proper program database and documentation for required administrative activities.
  • Assist in preparation of detailed proposal submissions to donors.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to evaluate program impact.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and external partners.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in program delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to program staff.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and networking events related to program activities.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by line manager as required.
  • Travel to provinces if needed.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Project Management, master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven work experience of 4 years’ in related field, preferably in an NGO.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Qamar Foundation.
