About RRSWO: About RRSWO: RRSWO (Rah-e-Rahnaward Social Welfare Organization), is a Non-Governmental and Non-Profitable organization established in 2011 with registration no.( 3482) with Ministry of Justice and later registered with Ministry of Economy in 2019 (4865) as historic opportunity to jump-start progress for women and girls in Afghanistan. RRSWO acts on the fundamental premise that women and girls have the right to live a life free of discrimination, violence and poverty, and that gender equality is central to achieving development with reach, sizable expertise and significant resources. For too long, women have been forced to stand on the sidelines, whether the issue is political leadership, safety in conflict zones, protection from violence or access to public services. Now women must come to the centre as leaders, advocates and agents of change.

Job Description

  • Conduct surveys and assessments in the communities and provide feedback and suggestions for the development of the education program.
  • Create durable relations with community through regular meetings and informal discussion for identifying and addressing education needs and issues. He/she will spend approximately 80% of his/her working time in the field. Each community should be visited once a month or more as needed.
  • Assist the community members and elders in establishing emergency (Shuras)to monitor and support the Emergency activities in the community.
  • Work with community members to identify emergency needs create work plan and assure that they are supporting the emergency program and emergency (Shura) members.
  • Ensure the registration and integration of emergency Beneficiaries to the Ministry of Natural Disasters  formal system.
  • Establish and maintain productive work relationship and coordinate activities with Directorate of Ministry of Natural Disaster. 
  • Conduct campaigns and trainings for raising awareness about Natural Disasters especially for improvement of public awareness  and their further participation in emergency.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in social science, administration, or equivalent education.
  • 3 years of experience in community mobilization particularly for community participation conflict resolution and resource mobilization.
  • Knowledge of the local community structure dynamics and development.
  • Knowledge of the value of education in Islam major features of each stage of the child development and the current trends of education in Afghanistan.
  • Sound training delivery skills especially for illiterate people.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in local language (Dari/Pashto)
  • Ability to frequently travel to the program communities in the districts
