Job Description

  • Summary of Key Functions

The primary responsibility of the trainer is to provide quality Tailoring training to BNFs following the agreed syllabus and implementation schedule and to coordinate the teaching schedule with other trainers:

 

  • Key relations Reports to:
  • Business Development Officer and Filed Supervisor

Duty Locations:

   Herat Province (Injil, Guzara and Zendajan districts)    

     Key Results Expected:

  • Focus more on teaching professional knowledge to all members of the class to ensure the learning of the taught skills and to monitor how the learned knowledge and skills are implemented practically until all the members of the group become self-sufficient and able to Produce all kinds of women's and children's clothes.
  • Develop and agree on work plans for the smooth running of tailoring training with the Business Development Officer.
  •  Conduct needs assessment for tailoring training.
  •  Give feedback to all trainees.
  •  Provide support and advice from time to time to tailoring trainees.
  •  Implementation of impacted and benefited teaching methods.
  •  Trying to create of friendly environment with beneficiaries.
  • Sharing of existing problems with the line Manager.
  • Improving the skills of the class members in the field of clothing production in the practical form of marketing the produced products.
  • Any other task assigned by the line Manager.

Job Requirement

Qualification and Experience

  • High School diploma/ 14th graduated.
  • Two/three years’ experience.
  • Ability to work in team based environment.
  • Self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of the tailoring process.
  • Thorough understanding of tailoring identification systems.
  • Effective reading, writing and interpretive communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of materials identification systems.

Able to facilitate change and demonstrate innovation. negotiation; gender sensitivity and cultural sensitivity. Excellent knowledge and skill to facilitate meetings effectively and efficiently; participate as org representative, self-starter, has ability to work under minimum supervision and maintain good relationships with all projects internal and external stakeholders. presentation skills and working in diverse team, adapt to changing context and to respond to tight deadlines Gender sensitivity.
