Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations, monitoring budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in using accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or NGO sector is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for audits and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software, including QuickBooks.
- Provide financial guidance and support to management and staff to optimize financial performance.
- Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
