Job Description

The Project Coordinator (Protection and Border Monitoring) will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the implementation of protection activities and border monitoring initiatives within the framework of WADAN’s and UNHCR mandate. The incumbent will work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services and interventions aimed at enhancing the protection of displaced populations, returnees, refugees/asylum seekers, and vulnerable individuals and emergency response of the upcoming influx from Pakistan.

The primary objective of the Project Coordinator (Protection and Border Monitoring) is to lead and manage protection-focused activities and border monitoring activities, with a particular focus on ensuring the safety, dignity, and rights of affected populations. The incumbent will be

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in protection and monitoring-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of protection and monitoring systems, practices, and quality improvement approaches.
  • Proven experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
