About Afghanaid: Afghanaid is a British humanitarian and development NGO established in 1983. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all required information and documents to Community Resilience and Livelihoods Project are entered in MIS and submitted to database officer.
  • Conducting of awareness and relevant training sessions with community and CDCs.
  • Facilitating and implementation and follow up of project activities in provincial and district level.
  • Updating the community profile with communities.
  • Prepare community beneficiary list.
  • Informing the CDC when their fund is disbursed and arrived at the CDC Bank account.
  • Ensuring the transparency and accountability at the community level.
  • Supporting the CDCs and its procurement sub-committees on the procurement process.
  • Completion of all financial and procurement document.
  •  Make sure the confirmation and approval of all financial documents by CDC and its record in CDC file
  • Preparing a clear report from all steps and submit to Lead social organizer.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned by lead social organizer.

At least Bachelor degree in in relevant field

Work Experience

Relevant experience as Social Organizer in community driven development programs in Afghanistan or similar environments.

Fluency in written English and demonstrated ability to write and lay out high-quality documents,

Knowledge of Dari and Pashtu is compulsory.

High-level proficiency in office applications, including spread sheets, word processing, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent conceptual and analytical skills able to distil key ideas with clarity and precision.

Strong organizational and coordination skills, able to work with significant levels of autonomy, manage personal priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Resilience to live, travel and work in isolated and possibly insecure locations.

Flexible and dynamic with the ability to deal with difficult, often ambiguous and challenging situations and creatively solve problems.

Clear and firm commitment to the rights, equality, role and empowerment of women, minorities and persons with disabilities.
